How to get to Málaga

The excellent location of the province of Malaga and its Costa del Sol and the wide network of infrastructures available make it easy to reach the province by different means. Malaga can be reached by plane, train, road or sea.

Malaga Airport is located southeast of the capital, within the municipality of Malaga. The airport is linked to the capital by the E-15 motorway, which runs around Malaga. The airport is 8 kilometres from the city centre and is perfectly connected to the entire Costa del Sol.

It connects to the airport directly through the C-1 line and is located 2 km from the Port of Málaga.

By ROAD: Access from the north is via the A-45 motorway (Antequera-Málaga) connected to the A-92 which crosses the Autonomous Community of Andalusia and into which the connections coming from the north of the country flow. The A-45 will allow visitors to enter Málaga through Ciudad Jardín, to reach the center of the city, or to opt for the East or West rounds that bypass it if their destination is in some other area of Málaga. The A-357 will put you in touch with Andalusia Technology Park (PTA). On the other hand, the A-7 Mediterranean Motorway, which runs along the entire coastline of the province, from Nerja to Algeciras, already in the province of Cadiz, will allow visitors access to the city via this route if it comes from any town on the coast.

In fact, it is located next to the railway station, and there is also a bus to the airport. Its facilities are spacious, with many buses at its passenger dock, and passengers are always sheltered by a canopy and porches to protect them from possible inclement weather. The station operates with companies that serve the cities and towns of Malaga, Andalusia and the rest of Spain on a national level. But it also works with companies with origins and destinations in Europe and that can even provide you with passages and stopovers to North Africa.
